Usama Zahid
Reporting the stories that matter, on screen and on the record.
A career built on the record.
I am a journalist, news professional, and storyteller with experience in digital and broadcast media. My work focuses on reporting current affairs, politics, international developments, and stories that matter to people beyond the headlines.
Over the years, I have worked across different media platforms, gaining experience in reporting, news gathering, field journalism, interviewing, editorial research, and digital storytelling. My journey in journalism has allowed me to work with diverse news organizations and cover stories from both local and international perspectives.
I believe journalism is more than simply delivering information. It is about asking the right questions, verifying facts, understanding context, and presenting stories in a way that helps audiences make sense of a rapidly changing world.
My professional journey has included work with SNN News, where I served as Managing Director, Al Jazeera, where I worked as a Reporter, and News One and Voice News, where I worked as a Program Anchor, developing my experience as a journalist, editorial leader, and media professional.
Today, I continue to explore new forms of journalism and digital storytelling, with a particular interest in international affairs, emerging developments, and underreported stories.
My goal is simple: to tell meaningful stories, report responsibly, and keep learning with every story I cover.
